Add ProjectX Connection

Prerequisites

Before adding a ProjectX connection, ensure the following:

• You have a ProjectX Dashboard account
• You have an active ProjectX API subscription

Note: The ProjectX Dashboard account and API subscription are separate from your prop firm account.

Step 1: Create or Verify Your ProjectX Dashboard Account

1. If you do not already have a ProjectX Dashboard account, click Register on the ProjectX Dashboard to create one.

2. Log in to the dashboard and confirm that your API subscription is active.

   
   

Step 2: Link Your Prop Firm Account to ProjectX

1. Log in to the ProjectX trading platform for the prop firm you want to connect.
2. Click the Settings icon in the left-hand menu.
3. Navigate to the API tab.
4. Click Link to associate your prop firm account with your ProjectX Dashboard.
5. You will be redirected to the ProjectX Dashboard to confirm the link.

6. After confirming, return to the trading platform’s API page.

   
   

Step 3: Create an API Key

1. On the API page, click Add API Key.
2. A new API key will be generated.

3. Copy the API key and keep it available for the next step.

   
   

Step 4: Add the Connection in FutuCopy

1. In FutuCopy, navigate to the Prop Connections page.
2. Click Add Connection.
3. Select ProjectX as the trading platform and click Next.
4. Select your prop firm.
5. Enter your username (the same username used to log in to the ProjectX trading platform).
6. Paste the API key you generated earlier.

Click Add Connection to continue.

Step 5: Connect

1. Locate the new ProjectX connection in your list.

   Click Connect.

   • Connection may take a few moments.
   • Once connected, your accounts and balances will load.
